MK DONS ACADEMY u16s[6]v CITY COLTS U16s[4]. Well first of all thanks to mk dons for giveing my boys the chance to play them.With our important semi-final county cup game on sunday to come this would be a good warm up. As always these games the result not important,a sunday league team never expected to beat an academy side,but its good to give a good account of yourself,and the boys certainly did that. As the boys showed they can compete at a higher level pre-season beating real madrid u16s 4-1. Although admitedly mk dons were a better squad,a 6-4 defeat over 80 mins.is very respectable. As expected the speed of the academys football was superior to us,there talking was louder,and there one touch was faster,but all said and done for a lot of the game we to showed some class and some quality football as the scoreline shows. But all in all a good night for the boys. But its back to buisness sunday.And hopefully i can report a county cup final date.Touch wood.
