city colts[1]v brackley athletic.[2].league one. Well i did say a week makes a difference in football.and that came true today.And full marks today to brackley.They took a pasteing last week,but a sign of a good team is how you react.They were pumped up for the game and we played as though the result would be given to us.In football it doesnt matter how talented you are if you dont work hard you win nothing.I cant be to harsh on the boys they are still on coarse for the treble,but they must remember they got this far by working hard.Hopefully this will be a kick up the butt,and as brackley did this week,they must respond against gt.linford on weds.We were missing 3 defenders today,so players comeing in had a chance to impress,although they did not take their chance,i must say most of the squad did have a poor game today.And it would be disrespectful to brackley today to make excuses.no matter how many changes were made today.Brackley were more physical,and hard working all over the park then us and wanted it more.But like i said everyone has a blip,i am sure my boys will respond in the next few games,and finish what has been a great season.Back to the game brackley took the lead with a fine finish.0-1.10 mins later a lovely finish by scotty bitra leveled things up.and thats how it stayed till h/t.In the secound half brackley athletic regained the lead another good finish.1-2.In the last 15 mins we went 3 at the back and 3 up front.We really piled on the pressure but brackley defended really well to a man,and hung on for a well deserved victory.Congratulation brackley boys and staff terrific win.As for my boys,back on the bike normal service resumes in next game.Squad.chris illingworth.grady fryer.ben ford.robbie mottershead.alex moyle.jason sykes.tyler trower.mark hunn.dougie.ashley dumbleton.scotty bitra.luke chapman.jason ilunga.shaun glassett.daniel simpson.scorer.scotty bitra.cheers martin.
