great linford [ 1]v city colts.[4 ].league one. well i did say after our blip on sunday,the lads would respond and resume winning ways.And thats exactly what they did.It puts us in a situation now where if we win our next 2 games we would reqire just 1pt.from our last 3 games to win the league.But next wednesday we play our main dangers brackley athletic and if we lost it would certainly go down to the last game.So we will go into these next 2 games as though we were playing 2 semi-finals.I know my boys are up to the challenge. Back to the game with just 5 mins gone a superb header by mark hunn and a terrific free kick by dougie and we were 2-0.up.Were the boys going to give me a comfortable night.Well gt.linford were haveing none of it after a 2-1 win over west bletchley on sunday their confidence were up.And with a good finish of their own they reduced the lead 1-2.and thats how it stayed to h/t.1-2.The secound half was all about some good defending by gt.linford,some good closeing down in midfield by linford,they just missed that cutting edge up front.As for us it was a half of good passing football followed by some bad passing football some good finishing followed by some sky high finishing.And with 10 mins.to go at 1-2 it looked like we could regret the finishing.But in the last 10 mins.the colts did up the ante with another 2 good finishes by mark hunn for his 2nd.and ashley dumbleton.f/t.1-4.
