brackley ath.[4]v city colts[2].div.one. well our treble dream is now hanging by a thread.we have 3 games left we need to win all 3.And to win it outright we need brackley to draw or lose to blisworth last game of the season.But i will tell the boys to go full out,because if brackley did slip up in their last game,and we didnt do our part it would be a shame,as man utd as shown now big outsiders but there still there last day.And now the pressure of us as not expected to now win it,you never know.I would still not be harsh on the boys,at the start of the season,our 3 goals in this order was.county cup.league.citizen cup. you cant top winning the county cup.And an mk dons final and hopefully another cup win is brilliant.And like i said the treble unique.But i think any top team would have took at the start of the season what we have achieved.And like i said it aint over yet. Back to the game a howler by one of our keepers luke gifted brackley a 1-0 lead.But 2 fantastic goals by dougie gave us a 1-2.lead.Right on the stroke of half time brackley squared things up 2-2.h/t.In the secound half keeper chris replaced luke.Chris must have felt sorry for luke as he made a rare blunder himself to give brackley a 3-2.lead.The rest of the half was the story of resolute defending and good strong battling by what is physically the strongest team in the league.And late on brackley were rewarded for this with a decisive 4th goal.f/t.4-2. In summing up in league and cup 3 defeats in a year,its no coincidence that in all those games 3 or 4 first teamers have been missing,and at this level you get found out.But it happens to all teams,and thats when you need your squad to step up to the plate.The truth is they havnt done this. But like i said we have had a great season,champions of the county,mk dons cup to come...and who knows a twist yet in the league..it dont get much better..chins up boys..3 wins please.
